Our school theme for the year is "Night at the Museum"  so I started drawing butterflies to put up in the hallway outside my classroom.  The children will study Entomology, Botany, Earth Science, and Ocean Science, so I plan to decorate the hallway with a variety of things from nature.

Butterfly Tangle

I experimented with some new colored pencils when drawing the butterfly. The first picture is the original and the one shown above  I altered using photoshop filters.
